Mineiro: Cruzeiro fica próximo de anunciar Mateus Vital, do Corinthians

Belo Horizonte, MG, 05 (AFI) – O Cruzeiro deverá anunciar nos próximos dias a contratação do meia Mateus Vital, que encerrou a temporada defendendo o Corinthians no Campeonato Brasileiro. Os clubes já estão apalavrados pelo desfecho positivo da negociação.
Mateus Vital será liberado pelo Corinthians e assinará em definitivo com o Cruzeiro por três temporadas. Os clubes irão dividir os direitos econômicos do jogador em caso de futura venda, sendo que a porcentagem é mantida em sigilo por força de contrato. Os mineiros acreditam que o meia pode virar um bom ativo em curto espaço de tempo.
O meia é bem visto pela SAF administrada por Ronaldo Fenômeno. No meio deste ano eles tentaram levar Vital ao Valladolid, da Espanha, mas o negócio não saiu. No ano passado, também emprestado, ele defendeu o Panathinaikos, da Grécia.
O jogador tem apenas 24 anos e foi revelado na base do Vasco. Chegou ao Corinthians em 2018, mas depois perdeu espaço e foi emprestado ao futebol grego. Neste ano voltou e terminou o Brasileirão sendo usado de forma moderada pelo português Vítor Pereira.
O Cruzeiro estreia na temporada 2023 no dia 21 de janeiro, quando enfrentará a Patrocinense, pelo Campeonato Mineiro.
