Com o objetivo de prevenir e capacitar os profissionais no tratamento de pacientes com Lesão Por Pressão (LPP), o Hospital Municipal Santa Isabel (HMSI), em parceria com a Área Técnica de Saúde da Pessoa Idosa, da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde (SMS), promoveu, na tarde desta segunda-feira (3), um curso sobre prevenção e tratamento de lesão por pressão, que reuniu representantes de instituições de longa permanência, enfermeiros e técnicos de enfermagem.
Irene Delgado, coordenadora da Área Técnica da Saúde do Idoso, destacou a importância da capacitação dos profissionais, que resulta em mais conhecimento, melhor atendimento e, consequentemente, mais qualidade de vida para a pessoa idosa.
“A capacitação de prevenção de lesões por pressão é muito importante para a equipe de instituições de longa permanência. Oferece conhecimento mais específico sobre o assunto, prolonga a qualidade de vida da pessoa idosa e garante menor risco de infecção e outros agravos de saúde da pessoa idosa que já se encontra debilitada. Quando o ferimento não é cuidado adequadamente, o idoso tende a ser hospitalizado várias vezes, chegando muitas vezes a cirurgia de amputação. Portanto, precisamos tratar com cuidado e fazer prevenção ainda é a melhor solução”, disse Irene Delgado.
O encontro, organizado pelo Núcleo de Educação Permanente (NEP) do Hospital Municipal Santa Isabel, foi realizado no auditório do Centro de Estudos (Ceapes).
“O Hospital Municipal Santa Isabel recebe pacientes da Atenção Básica, que muitas vezes chegam com lesão por pressão. E para prevenir e reduzir esse quadro, fizemos uma parceria e decidimos trabalhar com o pessoal da atenção básica, ofertando o curso de Prevenção de Lesão por Pressão, que teve justamente como público alvo instituições de longa permanência”, explicou a enfermeira Margonia Palitot, coordenadora do NEP.
O curso, administrado pela enfermeira estomaterapeuta Raquel Veiga, que abordou técnicas de prevenção e tratamento de lesão por pressão, teve a participação de integrantes da Área Técnica da Saúde do Idoso, enfermeiros e técnicos das instituições de longa permanência para idosos filantrópicas e privadas, Área Técnica de Saúde Mental e técnicos dos Caps, além de colaboradores do Hospital Santa Isabel.
A enfermeira Rita de Cássia Botelho, da instituição Villa Toscana, elogiou a didática utilizada no curso. “Gostei muito. O curso foi bem detalhado pela enfermeira Raquel Veiga, com uma linguagem simples e objetiva, para que todos os profissionais absorvessem as informações”, elogiou.
