O centroavante Paulo Henrique abriu o placar para os donos da casa aos 39 minutos do primeiro tempo. Contudo, aos 10 minutos da etapa complementar, Isaac garantiu o empate para o Aymorés.
O resultado manteve ambas as equipes sem vitórias na competição. O Aymorés somou seu segundo ponto em duas partidas e ocupa a quinta colocação. Já o Betim, com um ponto, está na sexta posição.
