Com a presença de inúmeras famílias, autoridades locais e líderes comunitários, a Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo), entregou, na tarde desta segunda-feira (17), a implantação de uma nova área de lazer na Rua Eliéder de Fátima Domingos Militão, no Parque São Bento.
A obra fez parte do programa municipal “Sorocaba Linda de Verdade” e foi executada em parceria com a KRC Empreendimentos Imobiliários Ltda. e a FAT Brasil, por meio de medida mitigadora.
O objetivo das melhorias no bairro foi de proporcionar lazer e mais oportunidade de convívio, além da prática de atividade física, garantindo mais qualidade de vida aos moradores. A nova área de lazer conta com playground, academia ao ar livre, além de passeio público, luminárias com tecnologia em LED, plantio de grama, paisagismo e campo de futebol society.
Uma das munícipes que prestigiou o ato de entrega da nova área de lazer foi a vendedora Vanessa Aparecida de Souza, acompanhada de sua filha Nataly, de oito anos. “Achei esse espaço maravilhoso. Agradeço a todos que se empenharam para termos essa nova área de lazer no bairro, onde poderemos trazer nossos filhos para brincarem”, declarou.
