Na operação foram apreendidas 55 motocicletas e aplicadas 80 multas – Prefeitura do Rio

A Secretaria de Ordem Pública e a Polícia Militar apreenderam 55 motocicletas e aplicaram 80 multas, na madrugada desta terça-feira (4/6), em mais uma operação para coibir os rolezinhos em vários pontos da cidade do Rio, totalizando 664 motocicletas retidas desde o início da intensificação das fiscalizações para contra essa prática. As ações desta terça ocorreram nos bairros de Paciência, Santa Cruz, Recreio dos Bandeirantes, Olaria, Penha, Jardim América, Cascadura, Cachambi, Inhaúma e Estácio com as equipes da Gerência de Fiscalização de Estacionamento e Reboques, da Seop, e pelos 3º, 22°, 4° e 16° Batalhões da PM.

A ação, que tem como objetivo manter a ordem das vias e reprimir o barulho causado pelos motores que tanto incomoda os moradores, apreendeu e multou as motos por infrações como condução de veículo sem qualquer uma das placas sem legibilidade e visibilidade, ausência de habilitação, veículo sem licenciamento, entre outras.

– Essas ações integradas da Prefeitura com a Polícia Militar são muito importantes porque recebemos muitas reclamações com relação a esses rolezinhos, que são perturbadores do sossego que acabam sendo um ambiente de cometimento de infrações de trânsito. Dessa forma, é importante que a Prefeitura esteja alinhada com as forças de segurança para coibir essas infrações de trânsito, para coibir perturbação do sossego e assim garantir que as pessoas possam ter um ir e vir tranquilo na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Por isso a gente fiscaliza essas motocicletas com esse intuito de ordenamento urbano – enfatizou o secretário de Ordem Pública, Brenno Carnevale.

O Secretário de Estado de Polícia Militar, Coronel Marcelo de Menezes, completa:

– Coibir a desordem urbana resulta na paz e tranquilidade da população. Essa operação conjunta demonstra a união de esforços entre o poder público estadual e municipal.

Desde o início de maio, quando as operações para coibir rolezinhos foram intensificadas, 664 motos já foram apreendidas, 744 multas aplicadas pelos agentes e oito carros removidos.
