A exposição “Formas de sentir”, do artista Ernesto Ferro, poderá ser conferida a partir deste domingo (9), no Pátio Cianê Shopping, no Centro de Sorocaba. A mostra gratuita permanecerá aberta para visitação no Bloco B do empreendimento, no Piso 1, até o dia 31 de julho.

Promovida pela Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Cultura (Secult), com o apoio do shopping, a exposição tem como objetivo levar a arte sempre para perto da população sorocabana e valorizar os artistas locais.

As obras expostas são feitas a partir de blocos de sobreposição de lâminas de madeiras variadas, que são recortadas e esculpidas. “As formas não figurativas têm autonomia e adquirem topologias próprias, expressas de maneira orgânica e visceral”, explica Ernesto. A proposta da exposição possibilita, ainda, uma experiência sensorial que ultrapassa os limites do olhar, pois as esculturas foram pensadas para serem tocadas, permitindo que a forma seja absorvida também pelo tato, sendo, ainda, igualmente apreciadas por portadores de deficiências visuais.

Reunidas nesta mostra, as obras não receberão identificações individuais. A intenção é que a identidade de cada uma delas se dilua no conjunto, formando um todo. Todas são complementares umas das outras, repousando, assim, na ideia de um tempo homogêneo. Elas também se interpenetram, são transformações de um único corpo, operando como ideia de um tempo real, uma duração que não passa, mas que flui, que não é contada, mas sentida.

Ernesto Ferro é natural da cidade de São Paulo, mas residente há anos em Sorocaba. Cursou bacharelado em História na Unesp de Assis (SP), filosofia na Unesp de Marília (SP), licenciatura em História na Universidade de Sorocaba (Uniso), técnico em design pelo “Centro Paula Souza” de Sorocaba, além de ter participado de diversos cursos na área de Artes Visuais e realizado pesquisas na área de Estética, Arquitetura, Geometria, Filosofia, Artes e História da Arte. O artista já soma 32 exposições individuais e 19 exposições conjuntas, sendo selecionado em 44 salões e mostras de artes, os quais proporcionaram 28 premiações.

A exposição “Formas de sentir” poderá ser visitada de segunda a sábado, das 10h às 22h, e aos domingos, das 12h às 20h. O Pátio Cianê Shopping está localizado na Avenida Afonso Vergueiro, 823, no Centro, ao lado do Terminal Santo Antônio.
